The Aegis series was created using a special fabric produced with the latest 3D technology, which gives the fibers a high density and extremely smooth texture. These features allow better sensitivity of sensors used in both optical and laser mice. The outer surface thus offers an exceptionally smooth glide, which, combined with the non-slip properties of the underside of the pad, significantly improves playing comfort. Pleasant to the touch material provides both comfortable support for the wrist and equally comfortable use of the mouse. Unlike the X1 and X2 models, whose final form is cut using a laser, the X3 and X4 versions of the Aegis pads are finished by hand.
