Connecting wired security sensors to the security module makes Zipabox one of the most advanced wired security panels on the market. Robust wired installation, combined with Zipabox's advanced logic capabilities, provides a perfectly secure and comfortable environment in any building. Low price and high reliability of wired sensors, gives an excellent opportunity to install Zipato in new homes.

Zipabox Security Module adds the function of handling wired alarms in Zipabox for:
- 6 wired zones
- 1 12V input
- 1 monitored siren output
- 1 programmable output
- 1 wire power supply for 12V sensors
- 1 USB port
- 1 serial/ UART port to be user selectable between RS-232 and RS-485 mode
- 1 charger (when using the security module as the base of the alarm system, the backup module may not provide enough voltage to operate the wired sensors and cannot be used to power the Zipabox and modules in case of power failure. Use SLA battery for backup with security module)
